I have been booked up lately with places to go, appointments to attend, going to work twice a week, and then taking care of my niece Lola and nefew Frank two days a week, which involves picking Lola up from school and trying to do homework with her & get dinner done. I think I need some tips on healthy, but fast dinners to make that kids will eat up from age 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 to 8 yrs. old.
The funny thing is I think I'm busy now, but in just a few months my sister will give birth to my new sweet little niece and then I will be taking care of her twice a week while my sis goes to work. My sis takes care of Brody twice a week for me so I can work, then I take care of her kids while she works. Its a trade we planned out so we won't have to pay for childcare and we know that our kids are being well taken care of & they get to play with their cousins!
I was thinking the other day that I have not spent a whole day or night away from my precious little boy. I am in much need of a mommy and daddy weekend getaway! Brandon and I talked it over and we are planning out trip to Las Vegas in the beginning of May.I can't wait, but on the flipside am worried to be away from Brody that long. hmmm.... what to do...

I hate leaving Owen but it is so nice to get away. We have done it once before and are planning a trip really soon. Its good for your relationship. We do need to get together really soon. I think we are moving to temecula this summer so its a little closer. I asked Joe last night how close it was because I wanted to come visit you. So hopefully soon. Lets plan it. Have fun in vegas.
